Pick Your Own

Our dedicated PYO patch is open from early June until mid September and makes for a lovely flower-filled activity. Come and immerse yourself in nature, take a break from daily stresses and just enjoy the simple pleasure of picking fresh flowers.

How it works

The PYO patch is a separate cutting garden in a dedicated area of the Farm. It doesn’t have the range of our main flower field (which is not open to the public except on tours and for certain workshops) but from June to September it is full of flowers, including sweetpeas, pincushion flowers, larkspur, bishop’s flower, cornflowers, sweet rocket, cosmos and in late summer, dahlias.

No need to book. Just come along, pay at The Flower Hut on entry (buckets £30; jam-jars for children, £12). We will lend you a bucket to fill with gorgeous fresh flowers, and some snips to cut them with, and leave you to it!

We have jam-jars for children and child-friendly snips. Children must be supervised at all times.

PLEASE NOTE: Our PYO patches are closed now until June 2025.
